Do you ever get that feeling, like a little voice inside of you trying to tell you something important? But it’s hard to hear, and even harder to trust.
Amidst the noise and distractions of life, hearing our inner voice becomes a challenge.
So, how do we truly listen to it? How can we trust it?
I find that making some regular quiet time for myself - difficult as that usually is! - is vital to find that deep connection to my wisdom, and inner voice.
As the Winter Solstice is today, this is a powerful time to open to your deepest wisdom and knowing - an opportunity to connect with that inner voice.
I invite you to take a few moments for yourself and embrace this sacred time. I invite you to:
🌸 Set aside a short time alone, just 30 minutes, or longer if you can.
🕯️ Light a candle and leave your phone and other distractions aside. Gaze softly at the candle, keeping your eyes gently open. Focus on your breath—simply inhale and exhale for a few minutes, letting go of any tension.
❤️ Express gratitude for the darkness that has nourished you, for it has been vital in this journey. Now, welcome the light into your being and your heart. Allow this light to guide you toward a deeper connection with your own wisdom.
✨ If you feel called, take a moment to write any thoughts, feelings, or insights you encounter.
The Winter Solstice is a time of stillness and renewal. It’s a time to embrace the quiet and listen deeply.
May this accessible practice help you hear and trust your inner voice even more.
I wish you a bright and connected Winter Solstice today! 🌟
PS In my TEDx Talk, "The Road Less Travelled to Motherhood," I share how my inner voice wouldn’t shut-up - until I had no choice but to listen. It wasn’t easy, but eventually, I had to trust it. You can watch my full talk here.
